Uses

Tranexamic Acid is generally used in treatment of the treatment of bleeding. It is generally used in prevention of or reduce bleeding for short period of time in conditions like heavy periods, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, nosebleed, tooth removal, after prostate surgery or after bladder surgery.
Vitamin K is generally used in treatment of the treatment of nutritional deficiencies.
Mefenamic Acid is generally used in treatment for pain relief. It relieves pain in conditions like period pain, headache, muscle pain, joint pain or dental pain.

How to use

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.
Consume this medicine in the dosage and duration as per your doctors advise. While taking Mefenamic Acid, swallow it completely without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Mefenamic Acid is to be taken with food.

How it works

Tranexamic Acid is an anti-fibrinolytic. It makes the condition better by preventing the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding during periods, or after surgery.
Vitamin K provides essential nutrients.
Mefenamic Acid belongs to the category of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain, fever, inflamation(swelling & redness) to make the condition better .
Q. What is Tranexamic Acid?
Tranexamic Acid belongs to a group of medicines called anti-fibrinolytics, used to control bleeding. When you bleed, your body form clots to stop the bleeding. In some people these clots break down causing too much bleeding. Tranexamic Acid stops these clots from dissolving, hence reduces bleeding.

There have been reports suggesting that either Tranexamic Acid or oral contraceptives (pills) containing ethinylestradiol can increase the toxicity of the other by increasing the risk of clot formation in your blood vessels leading to complications like a heart attack. Please consult your doctor in case you are taking these medicines together.
