How to use
Use it as advised by your doctor or For directions before use, please check the label. Tacrolimus is advised to be taken at a fixed time, but may be taken together with food (or) without food.Avoid Tacrolimus with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.
How it works
Tacrolimus is an immunosuppressant. In organ transplant patients, it works by suppressing your body’s immune response helping your body to accept the new organ as if it were your own. In allergic eye disease, it works by decreasing the production of chemicalsls (eg. histamine) that cause allergic eye symptoms such as inflammation (redness and swelling).
