Uses

Aceclofenac is generally used in treatment for pain relief. It relieves pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis.
Cyclobenzaprine is generally used in treatment for muscle relaxation. It relieves painful spasms of the skeletal muscles.

How to use

How it works

Aceclofenac is a belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It blocks the release of chemical messengers that cause inflamation & pain (redness & swelling) thereby making the condition better.
Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm without reduction in strength. This improves pain and movement of muscles.

Aceclofenac is safe if it is used at prescribed dose and duration as advised by the physician

Q. Is Aceclofenac a painkiller/ antipyretic/ antibiotic?
Aceclofenac is not an antibiotic it is a pain relieving medication and it may reduce fever. However, consult your doctor regarding the same.

Q. Is Aceclofenac better than diclofenac?
Diclofenac is structurally related and metabolised to Aceclofenac. Both are equally effective and safe in relieving pain. It is recommended to follow your doctor advice before using this medication.
